  • Ingredients required 11 items


  • White bread flour plus another 1 1/4 cups
  • White bread flour or additional bread flour, for kneading
  • 1/2 cup semolina flour
  • Whole wheat flour half a cup
  • plus 1/4 cup of yellow cornmeal
  • Yellow cornmeal two teaspoons
  • Salt 3/4 teaspoon
  • 1 package of 1/4 ounce quick-rising yeast
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • one teaspoon of olive oil
  • oil-based cooking spray


In a large mixing bowl, mix together the white, semolina, whole wheat flour,1/4 cup of the cornmeal, 
salt & yeast.
Pour the water and oil into the well you've created in the middle. Mixing using an electric mixer's paddle
till dough begins to form, about five minutes. Or you might stir for ten minutes using a wooden spoon.
10 minutes of hand kneading on a lightly dusted surface, or 5 minutes of dough hook work in a mixer bowl
minutes. As an alternative, if you have a food processor, you can combine the dry ingredients in the work
bowl before adding the water and oil and starting the machine. Process in roughly 45 seconds.
Spray a baking sheet and a mixing basin with veggie spray sparingly. Fill the bowl with the dough.
and cover it with a towel. Let rise at room temperature doubled in size.
Punch the dough down. Then scatter 2 teaspoons of cornmeal over the baking sheet. Roll and elongate the
dough on the baking sheet to form a 14-inch circle. After adding toppings, bake in a 450-degree
oven until crisp, about 10-12 minutes.
